Our team exhibited and attended the MJBizCon in Washington DC, which took place May 17-19 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. The convention garnered a massive amount of and attendees. With more than 630 exhibitors, there was something beneficial at the show for everyone who attended.
The attendees were a mixture of industry players seeing what’s new (many already owning businesses and labs) and investors that are curious about testing the market. Businesses from other industries are beginning to realize opportunities in the cannabis market. These are security companies, insurance providers, financing companies, debt collectors, packaging, printing, labeling, and many others. The industry has seen a big shift towards analytical chromatography equipment as well, with a large emphasis on the testing and safety of cannabis products being introduced to the market.

Strainhunters Greenhouse Seeds / Greenhouse Feeding, a seed and nutrient company with two clubs in Amsterdam and Barcelona, has a series of HBO documentaries in which they have traveled the world in search of the origins of natural cannabis strains.
CW Hemp, famous for their CBD products which use the Charlotte’s Web strain of cannabis, as seen on Dr. Sanjay Gupta’s CNN special.
Dan Gulliver, director of AutoPot Watering Systems UK, which holds a huge festival in the UK that includes camping, music, drinks, and big cannabis brands exhibit under pop-up stands.
Jacko The Barbarian of Cannabis Medical Network, a longtime user of AI vacuum ovens and other extraction equipment, is in the process of creating a cannabis infused cooking show in Los Angeles.
In addition to the MJBizCon, we had the distinct pleasure of participating in the Phone Homie Slab Hour Radio Show & Monday Night Pop-Up Sessions, hosted at a local hookah bar.
