The world’s largest hemp fair, Spannabis Madrid, took place earlier this month. The show hosted more than 150 booths with countless international vendors.

Companies from all across the world attended this year’s Spannabis event. Many business owners spoke to us about our equipment. They are eager to bring the best extraction equipment into Spain and neighboring countries.
We were proud to see our rosin presses (sold last month at Spannabis Irun) being used at the show. An award winning genetics company was using the press to make top shelf rosin. Crowds were highly entertained by the process (no pun intended).
Police Persecution at Spannabis
Madrid is Spain’s capital city, which meant law enforcement officers were close by. As such, it was not surprising that federal police lined the perimeters of the show. A news article was recently released, which detailed the various confiscations made at the show.
Despite strong police presence, Spannabis attracted more than 20,000 attendees this year. Spannabis remains the world’s largest hemp fair.
The Exclusive After Party
Ai Vacuum co-sponsored an after party with Crystal Club, Oil Hunters, Grass Roots, and Cali Terpenes. Mapuxe Sound provided great music and entertainment. The party was successful, with approximately 100 attendees. (Fun fact: small scale, privately hosted parties are common in Madrid due to police raids and continued persecution. Larger events tend to draw negative attention.)
We demonstrated the use of our powerful 20-Ton Rosin Press at the party. Rosin continues to gain momentum in Europe. As such, it is quickly becoming one of the most popular methods of cannabis extraction. Guests eagerly pressed buds and dry sift into fully flavored rosin all night long!
